Shah Rukh Khan and his nemesis Ajay Devgn might finally work in a movie together, way to their respective best friends Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty
Looks just like the impossible goes to return true. Strong buzz is that archrivals Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn might interact in a film, being made by their respective best friends Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty. The film is claimed to be a masala entertainer, and roping in both SRK and Ajay can be like getting their dream cast.
A source with reference to both the filmmakers confirmed that Karan and Rohit recently finalised a collaboration, which the previous would produce and the latter will direct. “Since Karan is understood to offer a free hand to his directors, the film Rohit makes could be his roughly action comedy with some romance and emotions as well, ” said our source.
About SRK and Ajay’s appearance, another industry insider says, “At one time, before Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna was finalised, Karan had approached Ajay with the script he was planning to cast him and SRK together in.
However, the script didn’t end up as expected and the plan of bringing both actors was placed on hold. Till last year when Rohit said in an interview post Singham that he wish to cast Ajay and SRK together within the future, ” stated our source, adding that this might be that movie.

Olive branch?
Interestingly, this collaboration comes at a time when Rohit is wrapping up his upcoming film with Ajay, who’s also producing the film. After its release in July, he’s scheduled to begin his next with Shah Rukh Khan.
“And reportedly, this script was to be made right into a film with Ajay. But if the script of the remake of Angoor took time, Rohit offered the script to SRK, with Ajay’s approval, ” recalled our source.
As another source related to Rohit Shetty reveals, “In fact, both Ajay and SRK are open to the speculation of working together. But of course, keeping in mind the type of actors they are, the script also should be that strong to require their on-screen face-off.” Both Karan and Rohit were unavailable for comment.
