What`s all taking a toll on Akshay Kumar ?

What`s all taking a toll on Akshay Kumar ?
A crammed schedule, a soon- to- arrive baby, living out of a suitcase and pa- in- law's ill health -- is all of it taking a toll on Akshay Kumar?

Akshay Kumar was under the elements for the reason that past two weeks. The actor known for his fitness and disciplined life was affected by a viral infection and doubtless for the primary time in his 20-year-old career, he needed to cancel the shoot of a film, that's his co-production with Himesh Reshammiya.

Not so lucky However, he just couldn’t take day without work from his other home production, starring Paresh Rawal, because it wasn’t possible to modify the busy veteran actor’s dates. Together with his Bollywood timetable looking pretty crammed and his father-in-law seriously ill, it looks as if Akki’s is having a type of a crisis in his life right now.

Choc-o-bloc schedule A friend of Akshay said, “Thankfully for Akshay, he lives an excessively disciplined life. He gives utmost importance to his diet and his workout secessions in any other case the type of crazy work he does, it might have affected his health. Akshay is among the only superstar who has as many as four to 5 releases every year.”

In fact, word is that Abhishek Bachchan went over to Mehboob Studios recently to fulfill Akshay after he heard his buddy was unwell. In fact, Akshay was even seen carrying relief balm in his hands at a party.

Too many commitments? The friend adds, “Akshay may be heading to Singapore soon for a few shows and to shoot an ad film. After that, he'll finally take three days off together with his family.

He could also be seeking to shift back to his newly renovated house from the five-star hotel he was staying in in the intervening time. Plus, also the promotional plans around his film with Shirish Kunder continues to be chalked out.”

Family matters Akshay’s father-in-law Rajesh Khanna too have been seriously ill during the last few months, and recently needed to be hospitalised. While Akki and his wife Twinkle was at Khanna’s bedside, there's a chance that each one this is taking a toll at the actor’s health. Also, Akki and Twinkle predict their second child in September.

On the anvil Our source adds, “Akshay could be starting two more films this year, which incorporates the much-hyped sequel of Once Upon A Time In Mumbai and AR Murugadoss’s Tamil remake.” Our advice to you Akshay — it’s time to spend some me-time!

Revealed: `Raajneeti 2` to take off with Katrina, without Ranbir

Revealed: `Raajneeti 2` to take off with Katrina, without Ranbir
By Subhash K Jha

It is bureaucratic. The sequel to Prakash Jha’s 2010 blockbuster Raajneeti is going on. And Katrina Kaif’s role because the politician who builds an infinite empire of power and administration may be further fleshed out.

This time she takes centrestage.

Yes, Katrina will play a king-sized female politician. Raajneeti 2 will chronicle her rise to power after which her descent right into a megalamaniacal selfserving politics that might finally destroy her.

So excited is Katrina by the challenge of playing ‘hero’ for the primary time in her career that she was calling Prakash Jha regularly goading him to get the show at the road before Satsang which the director is supposed to begin with Katrina.

And Prakash, it seem has relented. Committed to do a remake of the South Indian film Ko early next year with Akshay Kumar, Prakash had decided to do Raajneeti 2 first.

However there's bad news for those hoping to look the Ranbir-Katrina pair come together again in Raajneeti 2. Regardless of being the one main character with the exception of Katrina who remains alive on the end of Raajneeti Ranbir has opted out of Raajneeti 2.

Apparently he was not kicked by playing side-kick to Katrina in what would predominantly be her show. Also, we're told Ranbir doesn’t love to work with the similar director twice. Not individuals are as luck as his ally Ayan Mukherjee and previous ally Siddharth Anand.

Confirming most of these developments Prakash Jha says, “It’s very challenging to take the Raajneeti story forward. A number of the main characters are dead. Two-thirds of the characters can be completely new. Katrina would have a central role.

And though his character didn’t die on the end of Raajneeti, Ranbir won’t join Raajneeti 2. Again I’d be doing a spin at the Mahabharat, though this time the spin could be completely different. ”

When asked when he starts Raajneeti 2 Prakash chuckled, “If Katrina had her way it could start tomorrow. I'M quite enthused by her excitement level. So it's going to happen sooner in place of later. ”

Katrina incidentally has not signed any new film except Raajneeti 2.

Star of tomorrow? Yashraj gives 3-Film offer to Sushant Singh Rajput

Star of tomorrow? Yashraj gives 3-Film offer to Sushant Singh Rajput
By Subhash K Jha

If the demand for an actor is a barometer for his success than young Sushant Singh Rajput is actually the star of tomorrow. No less than two of the biggest production houses in Bollywood, UTV and Yashraj Films are currently considering Rajput for exclusive deals.

The young actor who made his mark on television before making the transition to cinema earlier this year with UTV’s film adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s The three Mistakes Of My Life was called by Aditya Chopra last month to talk about an exclusive 3-film contract with Yashraj.

Says our source from Yashraj, “Adi immediately offered him the parallel lead with Arjun Kapoor in Aurangzeb. Also, Aditya Chopra had seen Sushant Singh Rajput’s dancing in Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa. He desired to make a full-fledged dance film with Rajput. A 3RD film would has been finalized later. ”

Unfortunately UTV wouldn't allow Rajput to sign any outside contacts.

A friend of the actor spilled the beans, “Aditya Chopra met Sushant and told him he had seen his work on television and had big screen plans for the young actor. Adi Chopra desired to sign Sushant for a 3-film contract. ”

Since the young actor was already under contract with UTV he asked for time to talk to UTV before getting back.

Says Rajput’s friend, “Sushant must fulfil his 2-film handle UTV before he can sign anything with an out of doors banner. They’ve invested such a lot within the Chetan Bhagat adaptation Kai Po Che. They expect Sushant’s career to take off in a large way. UTV naturally desires to make the most of his popularity once his debut film is released. ”

Says Sushant Rajput’s friend, “Sushant has already lost one Yashraj film Aurangzeb which was to start out within the next couple of months. He has also lost Mukesh and Mahesh Bhatt’s Aashiqui 2 which has now gone to Aditya Roy Kapoor. ”

The latest development within the Rajput imbroglio is that UTV has agreed to place a period of time to the actor’s exclusive contract.

Says Sushant’s friend, “UTV’s second project with Sushant Rajput should be launched before January 2013. In the event that they fail to do so, Sushant is free to sign any film. ”

Would Aditya Chopra be willing to attend for Sushant Singh Rajput to finish the duty with UTV?

Sushant Singh Rajput remained unavailable for comment.

Wonder how much she has spent at the entire film which stars Riteish Deshmukh and Tusshar Kapoor!

Giving Shilpa Shetty a run for her money!

'Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum' just got hotter! With 'Dil Garden Garden' and 'Shirt Da Button' already topping the charts, the forthcoming third track promises to intensify the film's existing noise level!

The curvaceous Shilpa Shetty's chartbuster, 'UP Bihar Lootne' ('Shool') will feature within the film but not in its original form! The men have completely outdone themselves and the track promises to take the hype across the film to a brand new level!"

Poised to become the brand new dance anthem post its release on July 5, the track has a promotion plan as unique because the track itself. Ekta plans to offer it the widest possible viewership across a single evening by revealing it on Balaji's four consecutive leading prime-time soaps ('Pavitra Rishta', 'Parichay', 'Kya Hua Tera Vaada' & 'Bade Acche Lagte Hain'), something which hasn't ever been done before.

The track can be the front-runner for the film's promotion in North India, and particularly, in Delhi, U.P. & Bihar, where Riteish and Tusshar, in a country get-up, will tour the cities in an open truck with the track blaring from the loudspeaker.

Trust Balaji to make the 'koolest' moves for his or her films!

Indian girl Deana Uppal Deana fakes sexuality on Big Brother

Indian girl Deana Uppal Deana fakes sexuality on Big Brother
Asians all around the Uk have numerous hopes and expectations from Deana Uppal; the brand new Indian after Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty within the UK reality show Big Brother. But by the appearance of it, because the show progresses, Deana is very regularly crashing their hopes.

After an enormous argument with a Housemate on Big Brother last week, Deana was seen ‘faking’ her sexuality at the show this week, pretending she was born a person and had an operation to take away her manhood.

Playing a prank on Housemate Becky Hannon, Deana told her, “I was once a person. I BELIEVED you knew! Thought you’d read up on me. I don’t intend to make you uncomfortable, I ASSUMED you knew!”

But Deana’s joke a couple of ‘sex-change surgery’ didn’t go well on another Housemate Luke Anderson, who was born a woman, and continues to be making the transformation from a girl to a person. Luke ended up blasting Deana for being “insensitive”, and then she apologized and confessed she was joking.

Bollywood PR guru Dale Bhagwagar, who also happens to be Shilpa Shetty’s ex-publicist and a expert with handling publicity for participants on Bigg Boss (the Indian version of giant Brother), said, “one can’t compare Deana to Shilpa.”

Refusing to touch upon Deana Uppal’s goof-ups in Big Brother, the publicist noted, “When Shilpa participated at the show, she’d conducted herself with numerous cultural ethics and dignity. It was this class and finesse that won her the hearts of Asians and Britons alike and made her the show’s winner and an icon in UK.”

“Deana appears to be a pleasant person, however it won’t be easy for anyone to emulate that Shilpa-effect on a show which thrives on scandal,” concluded the general public relations expert. For the record, 23-year-old Deana, who lives in Mumbai now, is really a model from Birmingham, and in addition the reigning Miss India UK.

The perks of being Sanjay Bhansali`s sister

The perks of being Sanjay Bhansali`s sister
That she is filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's sister has made her journey into showbiz trouble free, admits editor-turned-director Bela Sehgal whose first venture "Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi" is set for release.

Clarifying that she isn't copying her brother's sort of filmmaking to be successful, Bela told: "I always desired to be a director. Luckily for me, Sanjay started directing. And yes, of course, being Sanjay's sister helped me a lot."

Co-produced by Bhansali and Sunil A. Lulla, "Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi", which marks choreographer-director Farah Khan's debut as an actor, is slated for an Aug 24 release. Farah has teamed up with Boman Irani in it.

Elaborating at the perks that include being Sanjay Bhansali's sister, she said that in comparison to individuals who struggled, numerous things came her way easily.

"Without him, I DO NOT BELIEVE a large number of things would was really easy for me. We're like cats and dogs, but we both love one another. We both love one another to death."

Her brother is understood for making larger than life films, but Bela did not want to move that way.

"There is a reason for that. I said if I MIGHT do everything very similar to Sanjay, people is not going to even take a look at me. Why not do something different where people would say, ok, Sanjay's sister's film is different. I'M that sort of an individual. I enjoy my life. I'M full of masti and fun."

She tried to make "Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi" eight years ago with Farah and Boman, but things didn't fall into place.

"It have been an extended journey. Earlier, I BEGAN with Boman only and commenced engaged on it with a distinct writer. Things didn't determine. Something happened which I DO NOT even remember, I went through an entire circle and that i went back to Boman again with the script."

"Eight years ago, I had asked Farah for the film. I told Sanjay to invite Farah. When he asked her, she said, 'You want me to behave in your film?' I said, yes. She took it as a joke but after eight years I went back to her. Farah and Boman fitted the bill perfectly," she added.

With films like "Kahaani" and "Vicky Donor" setting the money registers ringing, Bela feels that is the fitting time to release "Shirin..."

"It shouldn't have worked eight years back. Now people have progressed such a lot that they've started understanding different things. They're hungry for various things," she added.

While brother Bhansali explored the Gujarati community in "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam", Catholics in "Khaamoshi", Anglo Indians in "Black" and Bengalis in "Devdas", Bela focusses at the Parsi community in her debut film.

"Parsi community talk may be very 'bindaas'. They're very bold and sweet. I just picked up this one because nobody has touched this and if in any respect they have got, they have shown it in dark. I NEED to turn them as nice and fun-loving people," Bela said.

'Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi' has an all-Parsi cast

Choreographer-director Farah Khan's acting outing has the vast majority of the film's star cast above the age of 70

To add to that, it has an all-Parsi cast barring an artiste or two. Needless to mention, her co-star Boman Irani is Parsi too and Farah herself is half-Parsi!

Kids… Keep away from Adult `Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum`!

Kids... Stay away from Adult `Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum`!
"Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum" is a whole no-no for children, says actor Tusshar Kapoor who may be seen within the adult comedy.

"Kids cannot see this film. Teenagers can see it," he said and added that though the film can have an A-certificate, it won't affect its box office performance.

Talking in regards to the sexual innuendoes and jokes within the film, he said that the genre has become cool and trendy.

Apart from Tusshar, the film, didrected by Sachin Yardi, also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Neha Sharma and Sarah Jane Dias and has been produced by his sister, Ekta Kapoor.

"When 'Kyaa Kool Hai Hum' became a great hit, I felt that it might has been bigger had the family audience would have seen it. Everyone saw it, the women went with their friends and the lads went with theirs. But people didn't go along with their families. But now society has really changed," he told.

"We had a narration and we toned it down, but everyone said that it was good but not so good as the former one. So then we brought back the entire jokes and the naughty humour," he added.

"Kyaa Super Cool Hai Hum", is being released seven years after Sangeeth Sivan directed "Kyaa Kool Hai Hum", which was released in 2005.

"We are lucky that no film of this type came in between. 'Housefulls' have come, Golmaals have come, but they're a comedy of a different kind. That is an adult comedy," the actor says.

Why the gap?

"There were a large number of problems, Sangeeth desired to do different kinds of movies. He said he was not just a comedy director so he wanted to make some actioners and thrillers. When he was ready, Ekta was not happy with the script.

"Finally, Sachin came up with a script for a movie called "Road Trip To Anjuna". But we liked it so much, Ekta decided to transform it into "Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum" and make it a two hero film," he said.

Abhishek charms Dancing Mums and is Geeta Kapoor a `Gol-Maal`

Abhishek charms Dancing Mums and is Geeta Kapoor a `Gol-Maal`
When actor Abhishek Bachchan landed up at the sets of DID L’il Masters to advertise his upcoming film Bol Bachchan, he knew he’d be called upon to accomplish a jig with the children of the dance reality show.

So when young Shreya Acharya from Manipal insisted that Abhishek joins the children up on stage to shake a leg to Kajrare Kajrare, her favourite track, the smart cookie that he is, he had already found out an intelligent strategy to avoid dancing alongside these l’il powerhouses of talent who’d send him running for his money.

He said, “Guys, I CAN dance … sure! But on one condition, I NEED not only the kids, but their mothers to sign up for me up on stage for the act.”

In one swift stroke, he cleverly achieved two things – one, he smoothly pushed aside any chance of looking pale not like the young movers and shakers … and secondly, he managed to place a large smile at the faces of the gorgeous young mums who were only too thrilled to be matching steps with their heartthrob.

Abhishek was accompanied by members of his Bol Bachchan team in this visit – Ajay Devgan and director Rohit Shetty.

There was a easy camaraderie and many good-natured leg-pulling between the judges Geeta Kapur, Master Marzi and the Bol Bacchan trio as they'd all worked with one another prior to now.

They all made fun on Marzi for his new-found prowess over Hindi and the bloopers he continues to makes.

In a lighter vein, Jay Bhanushali made an offer to Rohit Shetty, saying, “When you are making your next sequel to Golmaal, just use Geeta’s picture within the opening credits in preference to writing the title. After all, she is Gol and she’s a Maal.”

The trio was in splits.

Ajay Devgn rags Jay Bhanushali

As the host of Zee TV’s DID L’il Masters, Jay Bhanushali has always found himself on the receiving end of the pranks that grandmaster Mithun Chakraborty likes to play on him.

But little did he ever imagine that he could be submit to a chain of tasks by visiting guests Abhishek Bachchan, Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty who were at the show to advertise their upcoming film Bol Bachchan.

On hearing Jay’s fibs about how he has taught the most efficient of Bollywood’s action heroes all of the stunts and tricks that viewers see them performing in movies, Ajay and Rohit decided to place the large talker to check and took his case in every segment of the episode.

Whether it was imitating Amitabh Bachchan’s kaccha papad, pakka papad from the movie Yaarana or standing upright atop two moving bikes a la Ajay Devgn’s entry in his debut film Phool Aur Kaante, dares and stunts were thrown Jay’s way at every possible opportunity.

For the bike stunt, mischievous Uday and Faisal were only too enthusiastic to search out two bicycles that Jay might be asked to face on. And before anyone could blink an eyelid, they were up at the stage egging Jay directly to give it his best shot.

Making matters even worse for poor Jay, Rohit Shetty and Marzi went up on stage and increased the distance between both the bikes.

When Jay finally attempted the stunt, he could only reach both bikes by standing on his toes! Much to his relief, he didn’t fall flat on his face on national television!

In keeping with the mandate from the Grandmasters’ Association, Ajay Devgn, being a dad, took it upon himself in order for the entire participants at the show ate their vegetables and fruits by bringing them freshly grown veggies from his farmhouse at the outskirts of Mumbai.

While Tanay, Jeet & Shreya received a “lauki”, “kaakdi” and “gaajar” respectively, it was Marzi who walked away with the watermelon for his ‘impeccable’ Hindi which had the contestants and the audience in splits of laughter right through the show.
