Navratra has traditionally been considered the most important festival within the Devgn and Mukerji families. But this time, Ajay is shooting for his upcoming production venture in Patiala.
Family time beckons, and Kajol and Ajay's family might be starting up to Patiala to celebrate Ashtami with the actor. And that's the reason not all. They're going to even be celebrating his 43rd birthday on location too.
A source just about the Devgns and Mukerjis tells us that both the families follow the Navratra rituals religiously. "This time, Ajay's busy in Patiala, shooting for a movie.
Since he has not been around at home for the festival, his parents, sisters and their kids and Kajol, together with their children, Nysa and Yug, are going to Patiala on Saturday morning, " said our source, adding that they're going to celebrate Ashtami later within the evening.
Temple time
He adds, "THERE IS A Devi temple with regards to the hotel in Patiala where Ajay is staying. So after wrapping up the shoot, he's going to go there in conjunction with Kajol and their family.
Of course, they are going to be offering prayers and prasad on the temple. Later, they're going to dine together within the actors' hotel suite."
Our source tells us, "FOR LOTS OF years, Ajay has stopped cutting cakes. Within the recent years, Nysa have been cutting his birthday cakes. She's very fascinated by her papa's birthday. This time, Yug, who's one and a half-year-old now, will join her in cake cutting."
The team spirit
The junior Devgns can be cutting another cake on Monday to boot. "This one is more for the crew members, most of whom have worked with Ajay in previous films.
Besides, as a producer, Ajay ensures that team spirit is maintained, as filmmaking is a team effort. Such gestures convey that from his end, " informs our source, adding that Monday will see another family get-together for dinner.
