Shahana Goswami’s passions

Shahana Goswami`s passionsShahana Goswami who made a mark together with her performance in Rock On!! shares with CS her thoughts about films, music and more:

Flick-o-mania I can watch films back to back all day. I LIKE a wide variety of movies. I just love the medium of cinema and the expression of thoughts and concepts through it. Dependent on my mood, I pick a genre and use it to indulge myself.

Films help me better my understanding of people, and life generally. It helps me find out about myself and the way I BELIEVE about things. I prefer watching films alone. It’s the easiest de-stresser.

Shaking a leg I'VE always loved dancing. It comes naturally to me. I have an emotional connect to dance. I’ve learnt Odissi for ten years. My mother does workshops on movement and dance that assist you to find your individual body language to music.

Even at parties, I'M referred to as the primary one to reach first at the dance floor and the last one to go away. It’s an expression of affection to me. I enjoy watching dance besides – classical in addition to modern.

Rhythm divine I love music although I DO KNOW little or no of it. I often use music to modify my mood. I’ve used music to even get right into a mood for a scene.

Music goes deep into your system and alters the settings. It’s an important tool in the event you know the way to make use of it for your advantage. I let it heal me. I hum to myself the entire time.

Writing to de-stress I’m not a writer. But I write letters to my friends and shut ones; I'LL finally end up posting or simply personally handing them over. When I’m feeling cluttered in my head, I write down what I’m feeling to make sense of it.

On a lighter note, I LOVE writing stupid such things as lists of items to remember, to buy, to do. That’s why I REALLY LIKE stationery shops.

Games Much as I hate exercising, make me play any sport and I’ll take part before you end asking me. In school, I’ve played a wide variety of sports from basketball, volleyball, badminton, football to mountain climbing.

Even the warmth wasn’t a deterrent when it came to play. I haven’t played in an extended time, but indoor games have taken that spot.
