Vivek’s loss is Neil’s gain

Vivek`s loss is Neil`s gainNeil Nitin Mukesh has bagged the role of a gangster in Bejoy Nambiar's next after Vivek Oberoi opts out of the film

A month ago, when Vivek Oberoi backed out of Bejoy Nambiar's next, it put the director in a difficult spot. He had already cast the remainder of the actors and was suddenly left without a leading man for David.

And now in a captivating turn of events, the filmmaker has roped in Neil Nitin Mukesh to fill the spot, alongside South stars Vikram and Jeeva.

Says a source, "NUMEROUS things concerning the film has changed prior to now two months. It was speculated to be made in Hindi and now it is a bi-lingual. They're making it in Hindi and Tamil both. Neil incidentally fits the part to the T."

Neil apparently was the natural choice for the film because we hear that the director belives he's a really perfect but underrated actor.

Adds the source, "Bejoy thinks Neil has great potential and he's perfect for the part. In fact, they've even finished shooting one schedule and gearing up for the next."

Incidentally, Vivek who was alleged to play some of the leading roles within the film backed out thinking that the film was being made in Tamil.

Vivek was quoted saying, "Doing an out-an-out Tamil film didn't make sense to me. Although it was a bilingual, I WOULD NOT have had an issue doing the film." However, the makers gave the impression to have changed their mind over the process time.
