First Look: Bipasha and Sonakshi lace it up
Shaurya shot `Krrish 3` action scenes without stunt double
"I have done the entire action sequence by myself. I DID NOT have any stunt double," Shaurya told.
She says "Krrish 3" director Rakesh Roshan was clear about his demands for the role.
"He wanted me to lose some weight and look flexible, in order that I MAY do gymnastics and the needed stunts," said the actress, who underwent training for 3 to four months to suit the bill.
"I needed to undergo training for four hours an afternoon. I STOPPED the shooting for the film in June," she said.
"Krrish 3" features Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Kangna Ranaut and Vivek Oberoi. The movie will take the tale of 2003 film "Koi... Mil Gaya", and its sequel "Krrish", released in 2006.
Manoj Bajpai is Nandalal!
Manoj Bajpai is worked up about his forthcoming release, a kiddie animation film that could be a far cry from his latest gangster film. Manoj lends his voice for the nature of Nandlal, Krishna's foster father on this film that may be based at the Lord and his evil uncle Kans. The actor says, `It is a narrative we all grew up with. I remember the joys we used to get after we heard that Krishna as a kid defeated Kans within the end.` Speaking about animation as a genre, Manoj adds, `Tell me, who doesn't love animation films? This can be a great platform to specific one's creativity. I FEEL such films combine technology and creative talent in a stupendous manner.` In fact, the top quality of animation on this project is what impressed Manoj to enroll in the film. The actor says, `When I signed this film, my daughter Ava wasn't born. I THINK that if I gave the voice for my character after her birth, probably the feelings would have pop out even better.`

Revealed: Sunil Dutt`s `Pakeezah` connection
'Pakeezah' was first planned in 1958. The film was to star Meena Kumari, and be directed by her husband Kamal Amrohi. The shooting of the film, however, didn't begin until 1964. But, the film was shelved after Kumari and Amrohi separated the similar year.
Five years later, Sunil Dutt and Nargis previewed some reels of this film. They were so impressed by what they are saying that they coaxed Amrohi and Kumari to finish the film. Kumari, who was gravely ill by then, agreed to renew work at the film. 'Pakeezah' eventually released in February 1972. Kumari died a month later. The rest, as they say, is history

She made her acting career on the age of seven in 'Leatherface' (1939), with the screen name Baby Meena

In a cruel coincidence, her character in 'Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam' mirrored Kumari's personal life, as she had turned to heavy drinking. Kumari eventually died of liver cirrhosis
Apart from being a skilled actress, Kumari was a poetess in addition. She recorded a disc of her Urdu poems 'I write, I recite'. The music for a similar was given by Khayyam

"Bipasha was in a stage in her real life where she was heartbroken and her career was declining to ground zero. With the landscape full of new heroines, she had a terrible phase," he said and added that Vikram Bhatt also was in an identical situation when one among his girlfriends broke his heart.
He says this can be a horror film with an actual message.
"Though the film has horror in all places it nevertheless it has a soul of real message, truth of fame-seeking celebrity," the 63-year-old said.
Viewers can see all of it when "Raaz 3" hits the screen Sep 7.

Too good Isha Sharvani upsets fellow contestants
While dancer-turned-actress Isha Sharvani have been dancing her option to the highest slot on a TV dance reality show week after week, her fellow contestants feel that the contest is just too much one-sided.
Especially since Isha is a certified dancer and a teacher, while the others are simply amateurs.

Aamir now owns Shammi Kapoor`s jacket for Rs.88,000
The auction, held here Tuesday, was held as a part of the continued 12th Osian's-Cinefan Film Festival. It turned out to be a hit with sales of Rs.69.55 lakh and 86 percent lots sold.
Aamir and his wife Kiran Rao, who reportedly bid for 6 collector's items worth Rs.238,000, including late Shammi Kapoor's jacket for Rs.88,000 on phone.
Gurgaon-based entertainment hub Kingdom of Dreams successfully bid for the entire rights to the last recorded song of legendary Kishore Kumar who recorded it three days before his death in 1987. Kingdom of Dreams will use it for its new musical show "Jhumroo", which celebrates the spirit of the singer. They got it for Rs.15.6 lakh.
The highlights were 45 signed black and white photographic stills by the evergreen Dev Anand; rare Satyajit Ray designed film posters of the 1960s; the turquoise ring set in silver worn by Farooque Sheikh in Muzaffar Ali's famous "Umrao Jaan"; a cricket bat signed by Aamir Khan and the team from "Lagaan" (INR 156,000).
According to Neville Tuli, founder chairman, Osian's: "The auction emphatically indicated that a large potential exists for developing the marketplace for Indian cinema memorabilia, and that the film fraternity now feels a way of respect for its cinematic heritage."
"Hereafter nobody will dismiss this stuff as raddi (junk). They're collectibles they usually have significant financial value," Tuli said in a statement.
The auction also had rare photographic stills and show-cards from films like "Aan", "Mother India", "Dil Diya Dard Liya" and "Leader".
It also included many posters from Rajesh Khanna's films equivalent to "Aradhana", "Amar Prem" and "Andaz".
Huma… what a picky dish!
The actress, who's busy promoting Anurag Kashyap's next, shared an enchanting incident which happened along with her while shooting for the movie in Benaras
The crew used to visit an Italian restaurant to have food in Ashhti Ghat in Benaras and Huma being a health freak ended up being too fussy in regards to the food she ordered.
Amused by her pickiness, after a couple of days the restaurant staff decided to call a dish after her and put it within the menu. `We used to eat in a restaurant called Vatika and that i used to maintain telling them to cook it this manner or that. I liked having assorted vegetables with less oil. Finally they named a dish after me. It was so sweet. That place has the yummiest apple pie, trust me!, ` she said.

Shah Rukh Khan throws a googly at Rohit Shetty
Shah Rukh Khan will start shooting for his ambitious film Chennai Express much before the scheduled date. The film directed by Rohit Shetty was earlier presupposed to go at the floors in October-end but will now start from September 27.
A source informs, `SRK has given the dates for the film in September. This is a 20-day schedule, as he desires to be present when his cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders takes on other teams at this year's Champions League in South Africa. Earlier this year, KKR won the Indian Premier League for the primary time making them hot favorites to win the Champions League as well.
The source further said, `Rohit was also very happy to accomodate SRK as his sister is getting married on November 11 and he wanted time for the preparations. With the 20-day schedule wrapping up around mid October, Rohit gets time for the preparations.` Rohit remained unavailable for comment.

Aamir sir recommended my name for `Talaash`, says Nawaz
You never know what life has in store for you, and who knows it better than Nazazuddin Siddiqui.
After making his Bollywood debut in Sarfarosh (1999), he went directly to do somewhat role in Peepli (Live) before striking gold within the Vidya Balan starrer Kahaani. Recently while working together with Aamir Khan in Reema Kagti's Talaash, Nawaz chose to remind Aamir about sharing screen space with him for the primary time in his debut film.
In fact, Aamir too got so excited by paying attention to Nawaz that he even took a break from his shoot to talk with him. The actor says, `In fact, Aamir sir had only recommended my name for Talaash. Even during Peepli, I DID NOT tell him about Sarfarosh. But if I did, both folks had an extended chat about how labor can take people places.`

Fateh Singh: Sunny times for Sanjay Dutt
Looks like Sanjay Dutt is on a movie signing spree. The actor is now prepared to do Rajkumar Santoshi's period film Fateh Singh.
Earlier, friend-turned-foe-turned-friend Sunny Deol was alleged to star within the same role. However, apparently all isn't well between the 2 friends and now Sanjay Dutt has stepped in to take Sunny's position.
Our source informs, `Sunny and Santoshi were ready to do Fateh Singh together but it surely seems that they've had a difference of opinion again. Santoshi has now signed on Dutt. Dutt's close friend Vivek can even play a job within the film.` The film is predicted to start next year. Rajkumar Santoshi remained unavailable for comment.
Past perfect Santoshi made his debut with Ghayal and went directly to make multiple films with the Deol family.
However, the duo had a fall-out when both made a movie on Bhagat Singh or even released it at the same day a decade ago. They patched up later to sign this film, but looks as if it's back to square one.

Raaz 3: Bipasha is frightened of her own laughter
"In 'Raaz 3', I laugh in a definite way, it's important to have noticed within the promo. Now once I watch a comedy film, I DO NOT even laugh aloud because I'M so petrified of my very own laughter," the 33-year-old said here on the launch of the primary look of "Raaz 3".
"I am a large sissy, I DO NOT appear to be one but I'M. After I was narrated the script of the primary 'Raaz', the chair I USED TO BE sitting on flipped back and that i fell down, I USED TO BE so scared. Even while shooting for 'Raaz' I USED TO BE probably the most scared," she added.
Meanwhile, Bipasha is worked up to have teamed up again with the Bhatt camp after 2002 hit "Raaz".
"My experience was great on this film because I'VE get back. It is the team of my second film. It is very dear to me. It's after 10 years that all of us have gotten together," said Bipasha.
"I just said to Mukeshjee (Mukesh Bhatt) and Bhatt saab (Mahesh Bhaat) that give me a movie where I TRULY need to sink my teeth into my character.
"When they narrated this film ('Raaz 3') to me, I loved it but I USED TO BE really scared about doing it, about projecting it within the highest manner. But I BELIEVE I'VE just about done it honestly," she said.
"Raaz 3" also stars Emraan Hashmi and Esha Gupta. It's slated for a Sep 7 release.

Dhanbad's most dreaded ganglord Fahim Khan, who's currently in Hazaribagh jail, is allegedly accused in scores of cases. Though behind bars, the henchman through his cronies and the cops is keeping tabs on Anurag Kashyap's upcoming film in accordance with the coal mafia. The reason is that the project draws parallel from his real-life story. Kashyap's project has Nawazuddin Siddiqui's character apparently in response to Fahim's persona.
The makers claim that Zeeshan Qadri who's the film's writer in addition to playing a job within the film is getting threat calls from Fahim's aides. Qadri is predicated in Dhanbad and his family still stays there.

Kangana Ranaut turns director
Kangana, 25, who was last seen in Anil Kapoor-starrer 'Tezz', is currently engaged on the untitled project, which have been shot in L. a. with an American cast and crew and deals with a fancy subject of human-animal relationship.
"After meeting Hollywood biggies during one among my recent trips to Los Angeles, I DETERMINED to helm the project. And things just fell into place," Kangana said in a statement.
The film revolves around a four-year-old boy and a dog. The 'Fashion' star said she needed to take many workshops and likewise delve just a little into child psychology to hook up with the child who plays the primary lead within the film.
The film is in post-production stage and Kangana says she desires to premiere it at a global film festival. "We intend to send the film for international festivals, but as of now, I'M focusing on finishing the editing and visible effects. That is the only thing on my mind before I leave for Paris for my next acting schedule," she said.
The actress, who has no plans of quitting acting, said she enjoys both acting and directing. "I REALLY LIKE them both in a singular way... But working with a world cast and crew was an incredible experience."
