Kangana Ranaut turns director

Kangana Ranaut turns director
Actress Kangana Ranaut has turned director with a brief film written in collaboration with an Australian writer and shot within the US

Kangana, 25, who was last seen in Anil Kapoor-starrer 'Tezz', is currently engaged on the untitled project, which have been shot in L. a. with an American cast and crew and deals with a fancy subject of human-animal relationship.

"After meeting Hollywood biggies during one among my recent trips to Los Angeles, I DETERMINED to helm the project. And things just fell into place," Kangana said in a statement.

The film revolves around a four-year-old boy and a dog. The 'Fashion' star said she needed to take many workshops and likewise delve just a little into child psychology to hook up with the child who plays the primary lead within the film.

"It took six months of thorough groundwork. I USED TO BE advised to not work with kids and animals, but my script demanded it. "Kaden (the boy) may be very little. We needed to place hidden cameras, play games and faux to be aliens and trees in an effort to get him within the frame! But it surely was fun, he's adorable. The dog was well-trained and never difficult to work with," she added.

The film is in post-production stage and Kangana says she desires to premiere it at a global film festival. "We intend to send the film for international festivals, but as of now, I'M focusing on finishing the editing and visible effects. That is the only thing on my mind before I leave for Paris for my next acting schedule," she said.

The actress, who has no plans of quitting acting, said she enjoys both acting and directing. "I REALLY LIKE them both in a singular way... But working with a world cast and crew was an incredible experience."
