As soon as she featured on 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa', a rival channel pulled a stop on her new promos for them

Madhuri Dixit has gone missing as narrator of a recently launched entertainment channel. The actress used to steer viewers in regards to the different programmes on it. But ever since she began to appear in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, she isn't to be seen at the channel.

Says a source, “As she decided to be a part of a dance show on a rival channel, they obviously couldn't feature her because the presenter in their offerings. That they had to right away stop her promos. As a result, the promos were pulled off the air once Jhalak rolled.”

Buzz is that the channel is now searching for a replacement for the star. Though nothing have been finalised as yet, they're hopeful to rope in another B-Town personality.

This was one in all her earlier assignments when she decided to relocate to Mumbai last year and start anew at the big and small screen. Madhuri have been specially roped in to join their campaigns in a bid to succeed in out to the audience in a bigger way.

The channel however maintains, “Madhuri Dixit have been roped in because the channel’s sutradhar for 6 months. Because the period of time is over she isn't any longer shown.”

But our source maintains, “As soon as she decided to join Jhalak and before the promos went off air, she did a disappearing act. There has been no way she might be seen on rival channels collectively. It'd be conflict of interests.”

Rajnikanth often is the boss of all, but it surely looks as if the superstar isn't willing to clash with Ajay Devgn and Shah Rukh Khan on the box office.

Buzz is that his next film, his first release in two years and in addition his comeback project post his illness, will now be delayed to circumvent a showdown with Ajay’s magnum opus (directed by Ashwani Dheer) and Yash Chopra’s untitled that stars Shah Rukh Khan. All of the films were earlier slated to have a Diwali release.

Word was that theatres far and wide Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and other parts of the South were already being booked in bulk for the film. However, the delay that was kept under wraps to bypass disappointing the superstar’s fans is now out within the open.

Says a source from the film, “Rajni sir’s South market is completely secure. In fact, when Kamal Haasan heard of Rajni ji’s Diwali plans, he postponed the discharge date of his Hindi-Tamil-Telugu tri-lingual film.

But then the inside track of the Ajay Devgn-starrer being released during Diwali surfaced. Though, it on no account affects Rajni ji’s Southern and overseas market, the Hindi version is certain to get affected.”

Our source adds, “Incidentally, Yash Chopra had already announced that he can be releasing his film during Diwali. Initially, Rajni’s team was ready and willing to tackle Ajay’s film even within the Hindi belt.

But now with Sonakshi Sinha’s soaring popularity after Rowdy Rathore, it was felt that a Diwali release was just not practical.”

Kainaz desires to take Aamir for a drive

"Ragini MMS fame" actress Kainaz Motivala, who's set to play a chauffeur in "Challo Driver", says if she was to take a Bollywood star on a drive, she would really like to have Aamir Khan within the passenger seat.

The actress says she saw the episode of Aamir's show "Satyamev Jayate", by which a feminine chauffeur made an appearance, and Aamir commented he would wish to rent her when he visits the town next.

This made Kainaz more than pleased and excited and now she desires to take him around Delhi since she was well-versed with the roads of the city, said a source.

Directed by debutant Vickrant Mahajan, "Challo Driver" is a romantic comedy that still features Prem Chopra and Manoj Pahwa. The film is slated to release July 20.

Bestfriends for all times Abhishek Bachchan and Rohan Sippy have decided to take a break from each other. After starring in the entire three films that Rohan Sippy has directed (Kuch Na Kaho, Bluffmaster and Dum Maro Dum) Abhishek Bachchan has decided to take a break from all things Sippy.

The actor currently exploring a space beyond his comfort zone working with directors who aren’t necessarily personal friends (e. g Rohit Shetty)has opted out of Rohan Sippy’s next to make way for Ayushmann Khurrana and Kunal Roy Kapoor who will do what seems to be a buddy-buddy film at the lines of Bluffmaster.

Says a source on the subject of the project, “Rohan can’t dream of directing without Abhishek. He wrote his new film with Abhishek in mind to play one of the vital leads. He desired to revive the Bluffmaster duo of Abhishek and Riteish Deshmukh. But after Dum Maro Dum Abhishek has done some serious re-thinking. He's not doing the following films of either of his childhood friends Rohan Sippy or Goldie Behl. ”

The new Rohan Sippy film stars the Vicky Donor actor Ayushmann Khurrana with the Delhi Belly actor Kunal Roy Kapoor.

Roy Kapoor had directed the political satire We could Tell The President for producer Rohan Sippy 5 years ago.

Confirming the casting Kunal Roy Kapoor said, “It’s a rom-com. I can’t say a lot more. I'M really waiting for working with Rohan and Ayushmann. ”

Salim Khan returns to script writing for Salman and Sohail

The brilliant Salim-Javed duo gave to Hindi cinema a few of its most significant films within the 1970s and 80s before threy parted ways. Since then Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar has been individually active in various creative capacities. Saliam Saab, as he's well known within the film industry, has always been there as a script consultant for diverse young filmmakers and writers.

Now for the primary time since Patthar Ke Phool 21 years ago Salim Saab is being precipitated officially to oversee the scripting of his son Salman Khan’s film. And the film is none rather than Salim Saab’s younger son Sohail Khan dream directorial venture Sher Khan.

The film already has on board two other writers Rumi Jaffery and Dilip Shukla. But Salim Saab will be the pilot of the plot. He's going to be billed within the credit titles for his special creative contribution.

Says Sohail, “My father is the script doctor at the project. He’s guiding we all. My other writers Dililp Shukla and Rumi lookup to him up to Salman and that i. So there’s no clash of interest. All of us are counting on him to make Sher Khan one of the vital special films in Bhai’s career.

We’ve been engaged on the script for the last three hundred and sixty five days. And we’ve just locked it in ten days ago. I start shooting in October. However if Arbaaz Bhai’s Dabangg 2 needs overtime I’d willingly and gladly postpone Sher Khan. Arbaaz Bhai is directing for the primary time.

And nowadays all of the family’s focus is on seeing Dabangg 2 to the finish. I WILL afford to attend. Way to my father’s contribution the screenplay of Sher Khan has turned out to be out of the sector. ”

When one spoke to the softspoken, warm and articulate Salim Khan he said, “I am there within the scriptwriting means of Sher Khan expressly to indicate their mistakes, to not breathe down their necks. I don’t need to take away the credit from whatever those kids are doing. ”

Salim Saab feels it’s time to pass at the legacy. “The only thing that I certainly have which my sons don’t have is experience. It’s that have which I'M lending them.

We’re friends working within the same team, plus there’s that regard they have got for me. They don’t cross that line of decorum and that i don’t demand anything from them. ”

Apparently prior to now on some occasions when Salim Saab’s suggestion was not accepted by Salman and Sohail the flicks bombed.

Says the self-deprecating writer-father, “Jo maine seekha hai jo haasil kiya hai woh deke jaana hai. (Whatever I’ve learnt I NEED TO pass on). It’s as much as my children in the event that they need to learn from my experiences or not. My advantage as a writer is that I’ve matured with the years. Stars get old, writers mature. So I SUPPOSE I'VE a definite wisdom of expertise that Sohail is using. ”

Danny Boyle can shoot at the CST why can`t I?

“Danny Boyle can shoot at the CST why can’t I?” Ramu says refuting rumours that he have been denied permission to shoot on actual location where the ghastly 2008 bomb attacks happened in Mumbai. “Who says I won’t be shooting at the actual locations?” says Ramu defiantly.

Contrary to reports permission to shoot on the key points in South Mumbai where the terror attacks happened have already been obtained by the enterprising director, and that incorporates the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST).

Some reports had suggested that Ramu have been denied permission to shoot on the busy centrally- located railway station where, on that fateful November night in 2008, a number of extremists had gunned down innocent commuters randomly.

Says Ramu, “We are certainly shooting on real locations, including the CST. I don’t know where stories of me being denied permission to shoot on the station came from. The reality is, I'M shooting on the CST. ”

Ramu might be recreating all of the carnage on actual location.

Says the director, “Of course there'll be restrictions since we’re talking a couple of very busy public place. We can’t just go and shoot and inconvenience the folk. We’ll take delivery of a time to shoot, similar to we’ve to a time schedule for shooting on the airport. ”

Point out that the CST is a sensitive area where a gruesome terror attack occurred and Ramu retorts, “Danny Boyle shot a complete song and dance at the same station for Slumdog Millionaire. I just wish to follow the rule. ”

Says Ramu, “It’s too early to speak about all my locations. All I WILL BE ABLE TO say, and also you are free to read between the lines, is that we won’t fudge any of the locations or recreate any of the attack points in a studio. ”

You can have seen British actor Warvick Davis in cult films just like the Harry Potter series and the Star Wars, but prepare to look him in an all new avatar

The actor is prepared to make his debut in a Bhojpuri film. The film titled Chingari is being produced and directed by Shrey Shrivastav. Davis can be coming to Mumbai to shoot for his cameo within the first week of July.

Shrey Shrivastav confirms the scoop and says, “He is doing a cameo within the film. He plays a journalist from a world channel, who's doing a documentary on Bihar police. Within the film, he's shown to have come down to perform a little research and now we have a few interesting comedy sequences with him.”

About how he wooed Warvick to look in his film, the director says, “I know Warvick through common friends and once we spoke to him, we realised that he was very keen to do a Bollywood film.”

Sameera opens up about her weight issues

Actress Sameera Reddy has a word of recommendation for all showbiz aspirants - be fit, not fat!

The 34-year-old was a celeb guest on UTV Stars' "THE SELECTED One" when she advised the show contestants on their on screen presence.

She spoke to them about what she went through when she weighed up to 105 kgs when she was new to the industry. She even shared how she suffered water retention problems.

But she worked hard on it and began practising a fit and fabulous body. She advised the young girls that being fat isn't wise within the glamour world.

The episode featuring Sameera can be aired Saturday.

Enough of sequels, comedies for Riteish!

He is the quintessential comic actor of Hindi films but now Riteish Deshmukh, whose sequel to "Masti" will soon go at the floors, says he plans to forestall doing sequels and take a look at to join drama and crime thrillers.

"My next film might be 'Masti 2'. I CAN start shooting within the first week of August," Riteish told. He's going to team up with the unique cast - Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani partially two.

"It is myself, Aftab and Vivek within the film. It's my fourth film with Indra Kumar I BELIEVE like I'M married to him," Riteish, 33, said.

Indra Kumar and Riteish's earlier projects include "Masti" (2004), "Dhamaal" (2007) and "Double Dhamaal" (2011).

Besides comedies, Riteish have been related to sequels and says he plans to transport in this". is my third sequel after which the fourth one will come, then I WILL BE ABLE TO stop doing sequels because all of the comedies that i'm doing are sequels - 'Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum' (a sequel to 'Kyaa Kool Hai Hum') and 'Masti 2'. I HAVE NEVER done a brand new comedy."

The actor also featured within the recently released "Housefull 2", but he claims that he's not been typecast after playing such a lot of comic roles.

"In fact, in my case, it's been the wrong way round. 'Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya' happened and it was a rom com where Genelia (D'Souza) is more aggressive character. Thankfully, it worked."

"Obviously these series of flicks that i'm doing are sequels, they're brands and they're sure to be comedy. After these films things have changed because people's perception has changed so now I'M waiting for do one drama and one crime thriller."

Riteish is currently gearing up for "Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum".
