Delhi boy Akki’s driving woes in Mumbai

Delhi boy Akki`s driving woes in MumbaiBollywood star Akshay Kumar, who grew up within the bylanes of Chandni Chowk area here, is happy with the growing infrastructure of the town. And he says he misses such smooth roads and well-connected bridges back in Mumbai.

"I have spent my childhood in Delhi and that i know each road really well. But Delhi has changed so much. It has changed for the simpler... the roads are smooth, the Metro has made life easier, there are lovely bridges and great roads. Unfortunately, we do not have them in Mumbai," Akshay told.

He said roads in Mumbai were terrible.

"I think the development won't ever stop. I DO NOT know what they're making...there isn't any good drive in Mumbai. There is not any way you'll be able to take sports cars anywhere. Even supposing you'll be able to afford them, where to take them? In Delhi, it is easy to call to mind driving…wahaan chalaayenge kahaan (where in Mumbai can we drive them)," he said.

The 'khiladi' is within the capital shooting for Neeraj Pandey's "Special Chabbis". He was busy shooting a scene in Connaught Place. Though he has shot for over 100 films, in step with Internet Movie Database (imdb.com), Akshay says that is the primary time he has shot within the area.

He is loving the experience, but wishes he will have shot within the city in January.

"I just like the weather to be more cold, I LIKE it when it is very cold. I miss that weather in Mumbai," said Akshay.
