Filmmaker Karan Johar can be launching a woman director for the primary time under his Dharma Productions banner.
Sonam Nair will make her directorial debut with a Dharma Productions movie.
Karan has officially announced the scoop though the title of the film is yet to be finalized.
"At Dharma, we've already introduced nine directors. We're extremely pleased with their films. Taking the train of thought further, we plan to expand our production base and launch many more first time filmmakers within the immediate future," said Karan.
So far, he has launched nine debutant directors under his banner, ranging from Nikhil Advani in ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’ to Shakun Batra in ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu.’
