The cast of a forthcoming multi-starrer shot at a UK castle that was also portrayed in a Hollywood film in line with a Victorian classic
Sajid Khan's next comic caper, Housefull 2 was shot on the Burghley House in UK, the similar castle where the Hollywood movie Pride and Prejudice in accordance with Jane Austen's Victorian novel was shot.
The director says, "ONE IN ALL my characters within the film is a billionaire from UK so I WANTED a splendid house.
So after many days of recce and hunting and visiting almost 250 castles in numerous areas, we decided to move ahead with this one in Peterborough." Describing the castle, Sajid says, "IT IS A 400-year-old palace. I liked the structure, the size of where and the traditional charm it had."
It is natural to imagine that shooting at grand locations don't include a low cost tag. Sajid informs, "Since it is a historical place, we weren't allowed to shoot within the castle since the ancient tapestries and artwork and the royal paintings at the walls don't react well to the film lights.

We were allowed to shoot across the castle and only in certain areas inside it. We shot there for 15 days. I had special permission to take 3D imaging photographs inside and that i replicated the inner of the palace on a set in Mumbai."
Speaking in regards to the shoot on the castle, Sajid adds, "WITHIN THE opening scene where the palace is revealed, I'VE shot with two helicopters. We weren't allowed to take them on top of the castle since the vibration could have caused some damage to the structure."
