Sonakshi Sinha and Ranveer Singh played pranks at the sets in their forthcoming film, scaring their crew members with spooky stories
Sonakshi Sinha and Ranveer Singh found an ingenious method to take pleasure in some dose of laughter at the sets in their upcoming film. While on their shoot for Vikramaditya Motwane's next in West Bengal inside an apparently haunted house, the 2 pulled pranks on crew members by narrating spooky tales to them.
It is learnt that the actors who were shooting in an old haveli near the West Bengal capital, were surprised to look that a a part of it remained locked up at all times. The local residents informed them that a part of the mansion was haunted for years.
"There were stories about scary sounds popping out from that part of the haveli. And apparently, some or the opposite harm had befallen individuals who ventured into that area. So the locals had decided to fasten that portion up," explains a source related to the film.
Needless to say, Ranveer and Sonakshi were intrigued by this piece of news, we're told.
"So they tried to do their very own investigation whether there has been anything really scary concerning the place or was it only a fictitious story to bypass visitors from creating mischief," says our source, adding that fortunately for the team, no untoward incident occurred.
Nonetheless, where had gained enough notoriety for the stories given by the locals in order for the crew members were constantly watching over their shoulders. "Hearing the spooky stories, the unitwalas would get edgy and were startled by sudden sounds after dark.
So any other morning, Ranveer and Sonakshi would narrate some scary episode saying it had occurred the former night," reveals our source. "Sometimes, after pack up, when darkness set in, the 2 actors would attempt to play pranks on unsuspecting unit members to spook them out."
Vikas Bahl, some of the producers confirms the tale saying that in the first place they thought it was a joke.
"But when the locals kept insisting in regards to the spooky tales, we thought it may be true. Fortunately, the crew didn't experience any untoward or scary incident and we managed to finish our shoot with none horror," he maintained.
