He may claim to be a singleton, but that doesn't stop Neil Nitin Mukesh from being the lady's man. While shooting for his next film with Puja Gupta in Kenya, he came to her aid when the actress was taken ill.
Gupta who was shooting shooting within the jungles of Masai Mara was exposed to direct sunlight for days and hence suffered burn marks everywhere her back.
Neil at the side of the remainder of the unit members stepped up and organized a wide variety of drugs possible for Puja. Says a source, "She was in bad shape because her back was burning all throughout.
She was wearing backless outfits for hours together within the sun, which caused the issue. That they had doctors are available in however the infection was a little bit too intense."
Adds the actress' spokesperson, "She continued shooting despite the burns." However Neil apparently not only helped Puja with medicines, but even requested that the shoot be pushed back for a bit, till she heals completely.
Adds the source, "Neil was spotted with Puja at Dheeraj Deshmukh's wedding besides. But very recently there have been reports about him being spotted lunching with Sonal Chauhan.
So on the moment, we do not really know if he's involved with either of them." Neil however steers away from the theory. He says, "I CAN help my friends whenever they're in need.
And for the record, I'M greatly single." Puja adds, "I'M thankful to all the unit because they took excellent care of me while I had fallen sick. Not a moment did they make me feel like I USED TO BE alone."
