Farhan Akhtar can't wait to start out shooting with Vidya Balan and join a romantic comedy as an actor for the primary time in ‘Shaadi Ke Side Effects’

Farhan Akhtar is slated to pair with Vidya Balan within the sequel to the 2006 film Pyaar Ke Unintended effects that had Rahul Bose and Mallika Sherawat within the leading roles.

This project marks Farhan’s seventh film as an actor but additionally the primary time he’d be starring in a romantic comedy. Dil Chahta Hai — which he wrote and directed greater than a decade ago — was the nearest he got to a romcom!

So, understandably, Farhan is pretty excited to experiment in a distinct genre. He says, “With this film, I'M moving clear of anything that I'VE BEEN part of earlier. I HAVEN'T done a romantic comedy before.

Besides, it’s an excessively funny script yet jointly it’s a moving one.” Farhan also praised Saket Chaudhary and added that the debutante director has written a captivating script as well.

Given the excitement that the 2 make an unusual pair, Farhan is eagerly waiting for collaborate with the actress. On being asked whether the chemistry between them will work because the film is predicated at the lifetime of a married couple. “Well, that may be for the audience to look at and decide, isn’t it?” poses Farhan.
