Priyanka Chopra is without doubt one of the two Bollywood actresses who could be attending Telugu superstar Ramcharan Teja’s wedding in Hyderabad on June 14. The opposite actress is Bipasha Basu. PC has become Ramcharan’s “language buddy”.
Says a mutual friend, “They’re swapping tongues. He’s teaching her Telugu. She’s helping him along with his Hindi.” Priyanka starts shooting for the the Telugu version of Zanjeer, produced by Amit Mehra and directed by Apoorva Lakhia only in September.
But before that she has to master the Telugu language, because she insists on speaking her own dialogues. Says a source, “Priyanka have been paid Rs 7 crores for 2 versions of Zanjeer, one in Telugu and the opposite in Hindi. For the Telugu version she has told her producers she's going to speak her own lines.” She has roped in Ramcharan’s help.
The source adds, “Priyanka can assist Ram together with his Hindi and he's going to must make her fluent in Telugu. It’s a tricky deal for Ram because his character is the strong, silent type, while she is the talkative, chirpy sort. Telugu cinema audiences expect flawless Telugu even from non-Telugu actresses. She's going to need to sound like a neighborhood girl from Andhra Pradesh.”
PC intends to spend up to she will with Ramcharan, since he’s may be busy together with his upcoming wedding and honeymoon for the following couple of months.
“If Priyanka needs my help together with her Telugu I’ll certainly will help, ” says the Telugu star, confirming her invitation to his wedding.
