Annu Kapoor throws a frivolous allegation at Priyanka Chopra! Following various reports in regards to the film industry sidelining Priyanka Chopra, about her PR machinery crossing lines, and about her alleged affair with Shah Rukh Khan putting her career in jeopardy; some odd balls are actually popping out with fresh allegations at the cornered actress.

One such person is Annu Kapoor. In a contemporary interview, the veteran actor is reported to have said that Priyanka, who was his co- star within the critically-acclaimed 7 Khoon Maaf, didn't take her role within the film seriously.

The movie portrayed the actress aging from 20 to 65 years, through which she goes through seven marriages. Annu who had played the role of 1 of Priyanka’s seven husbands, supposedly doesn't think high of the actress.

Annu stated, “I has been within the industry for 30 years and feature worked with some big actors. But if I worked with Priyanka in 7 Khoon Maaf, I felt she didn't take the role seriously.”

But out of the blue, Priyanka seems to have found an unlikely supporter-in-shining-armour in her ex-publicist Dale Bhagwagar. Dale, who worked with Priyanka during her initial days in filmdom, and in addition handled PR for 2 of her films including Plan and Don, is by now considered a PR guru in Bollywood.

Hearing about Annu Kapoor’s allegation, he tweeted, “Priyanka Chopra not being enthusiastic about acting sounds frivolous.”

“Just take a look at the girl’s career graph. Andaaz, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Aitraaz, Bluffmaster!, Taxi No. Nau Do Gyarah, Krrish, Don, Fashion, Dostana, Kaminey, 7 Khoon Maaf, Don 2 and Agneepath – Brand Priyanka has contributed to greater than a dozen hits in a decade; a pace, consistency and bankability unmatched by many of the other heroines within the industry,” Dale pointed out.

“Could all this be possible if she wasn’t dedicated or passionate towards her work,” asked the PR specialist. So true! We get the point and rest the case!
