Abhishek has a secret passion. Besides wife Aishwarya and daughter Aaradhya, that may be. Abhishek loves fast cars, specially those who deplete the race tracks. Unlike his contemporaries from the film fraternity who rush to the Grand Prix races annually Abhishek has chosen to wait a much more eltist race event.
He left on Tuesday night for the 24 Hours Of Le Mans car racing event to be hung on 16 June within the scenic town of Le Mans in France.
Apparently Abhishek were planning to wait this 80-year old annual racing event for some years now.
“But he never got around to it previously. Once a year something or the opposite would arise putting a roadblock within the way of his secret fantasy. This year Abhishek was resolute to make it, by some means.
He virtually stayed awake nights to finish the dubbing of Bol Bachchan in order that he would get day without work for a couple of days before he returns for the promotion of the film, ” says a pal of Abhishek’s.
Interestingly Le Mans is the one car racing event on this planet where the cars at the tracks uninterrupted for twenty-four hours.
“Abhishek can be glued non-stop to the tracks for twenty-four hours. He’s as excited as a schoolboy about realizing certainly one of his secret dreams. ”
Abhishek left on Tuesday night. He returns on the end of the week.
