Gear up for Shriya Saran`s item number
Everybody is doing item song in Bollywood at the moment and the most recent to enroll in the list is Shriya Saran. The actress will groove to an item number in Sanjay Dutt-starrer 'Zilla Ghaziabad'

"I have done an item song in 'Zilla Ghaziabad'. This can be a fun song. On every occasion I used to look myself at the monitor, I used to think 'Is that me'? As an actor, it's fun to experiment along with your image. I'VE done many item numbers within the South, but this can be my first in any Hindi film, " Shriya told, but didn't reveal the title of the song.

A known name down south, Shriya has featured in Hindi films similar to "Tuzhe Meri Kasam", "Mission Istanbul", and most recently "Gali Gali Chor Hai". The actress feels this is a great time for the Indian film industry.

"It is a huge industry and it must come together. As a storyteller, you've got more freedom to specific as you've got a bigger audience and those accept you, " she said. "IT'S an honour to join the movies.

I am grateful to god that i'm a part of the industry, " she added. Shriya is now looking ahead to the discharge of her "Midnight's Children", a movie adaptation of Salman Rushdie's 1981 novel of the similar name.

Written and directed by Deepa Mehta, the film features an ensemble cast of Satya Bhabha, Siddharth, Anupam Kher, Shabana Azmi, Seema Biswas, Shahana Goswami, Samrat Chakrabarti, Rahul Bose, Anita Majumdar and Darsheel Safary.
