Amy Jackson is now a household name in India, after she was plucked from obscurity as a youngster by a Tamil film producer, who spotted an image of her at the internet

The Liverpudlian beauty has since gone directly to star in numerous successful Bollywood films which has resulted in her becoming an important movie star in India.

She is the face of Emporio Armani and half an A-list couple as she's dating another Bollywood star, Prateik Babbar. 'Back home I'm just a regular girl but in India it's crazy, ` the Daily Mail quoted her as telling Times. `I visit launches and get the entire red carpet treatment. It's nice, ' she added.

The stunning brunette, who had never acted before, was offered a job in 'Madrasapattinam' in 2009 by film director AL Vijay after he visited her model agency. It was an enormous hit. The young star is now so famous she has a bodyguard and chauffeur along with her wherever she goes in Mumbai.
