Salman Khan's 'Ek Tha Tiger' continues to wreck records. After becoming the fastest film to achieve the Rs 100 crore mark and getting the biggest opening for any Salman film, it's now crossed the mystical Rs 200 crore mark.
Unfortunately, it still has a way to visit beat Aamir Khan's '3 Idiots' since the Rs 200 crore mark was arrived at after computing the domestic in addition to overseas Box Office returns of the Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif-starrer.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh made this announcement on Twitter on Monday.
He wrote at the micro-blogging site, `Ek Tha Tiger 12-day total of, approximately, Rs 175 cr net is from India alone. Overseas total is *not* included. He added, `India + Overseas combined biz *after 2nd Weekend* is Rs 210 cr +. ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTER.`
Adarsh further added, `India Rankings TOP 3:- Number one - 3 Idiots [202 cr net], No 2 - Ek Tha Tiger [175 cr net, still counting], No 3 - Bodyguard [148 cr net].`
Other records set by 'Ek Tha Tiger'
It has the highest-ever opening day collection in Bollywood history: Rs 32 crores.
This is Salman's fourth consecutive Rs 100 crore+ grossing film. The others are Dabangg, Bodyguard and Ready.
The film is the fastest to achieve the Rs 100 crore mark
This is the largest opening of Salman's film ever, and broke the record of Bodyguard, which raked in Rs 87 crore within the first five days.
