There is a buzz doing the rounds that Kabir Khan's forthcoming film is definitely in keeping with a real story. The claim was originally made by the kin of former RAW agent Ravindra Kaushik. Consistent with them, this Salman Khan-starrer spy thriller was inspired by Kaushik's life.
The director of the film, Kabir Khan who also co-wrote the script however disagrees and says all of the film is a fictitious work. He also points to the massive period of time and work invested by him and his co-writer Neelesh Misra in framing all of the plot.
`Neelesh did extensive research to gauge the surroundings during which spies operate. We aren't making a James Bond replica here! Our film isn't in accordance with anyone's life, either. And to be frank, I've never heard of Ravindra Kaushik before this news cropped up,` he says.
In the similar vein, there have been also reports that Salman Khan interfered so much within the making of the film. Kabir explains that wasn't the case as he usually welcomes ideas from his actors and downplays the entire story.
He adds, `I guess it has been dragged out of proportion. In fact, I enjoy opinions from all of the staff members, not just actors.
Apart from Salman, even Katrina Kaif was providing inputs because each actor approaches his or her character of their own unique way. I WILL NOT be creatively arrogant and discard everybody else's views.`
