On Sep 27, Shwetha delivered a toddler girl at Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai and Blessy captured her delivery and has incorporated it in his forthcoming release "Kalimannu". On the time of the delivery Swetha's husband Sreevalsan Menon was also present.
"We have already asked the state government to peer that permission isn't granted (to turn the scene) because a nasty precedent is being set within the name of the art," Mahila Morcha chairperson Shoba Surendran told reporters in Thrissur.
"This is unquestionably a shame because it is a ploy at the a part of the actress and director Blessy to take advantage of motherhood for commercial purpose and to get audience queue as much as see their film," added Surendran.
Kerala legislative assembly Speaker G. Karthikeyan recently expressed his displeasure on the filming of the kid birth and said that it wasn't right to capture it on camera.
"Even if the actress had agreed, a director of Blessy's repute shouldn't have shot the scenes for the film," said Karthikeyan.
The film's shooting is over and it's about an intimate relationship between a mother and her newborn.
Academic and activist J. Devika isn't so worried concerning the filming of kid birth, her concern is the health of the child due to the numerous lights that were used to shoot the scene.
"What I DO NOT understand is the problem that was raked up at the shooting. Anyone can go on YouTube where such a lot of videos on child birth are available," she said.
Blessy has already gone public, saying that the debate is needless as nobody has seen the film to this point and the way it's been shot.
