Role reversal: Avika replaces Pratuysha this time!
In an everyday soap, Pratyusha Banerjee had stepped into the more youthful Avika Gor’s shoe when the channel decided to move in for a time jump.
But with the most recent development on a dance reality show, it truly appears like what goes around, comes around. Buzz now's that it's Avika who might step rather than Pratyusha, who was recently affected by dengue.
Our source from the show says, “Pratyusha has not been in a position to shoot for her daily soap or rehearse for her act. She was in two minds whether to continue with Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. But when she does now perform this week, there's a possibility that she's going to automatically get ousted from the show.”
Pratyusha who has just been discharged from the hospital says, “Since I USED TO BE not at the set, I DON'T know what's going to happen. So I ACTUALLY cannot touch upon whether I WILL BE ABLE TO continue at the show.”
In the meanwhile, Avika’s father Sameer confirms that she has received a proposal to sign up for the show but refuses to divulge any detail. Incidentally, our source also adds that a handful of different actors too has been approached to go into the show via a wildcard, and Ashmit Patel is one in every of them.
