It's only a beginning, feels Javed Ali

It is just a beginning, feels Javed Ali
A singer have to be capable of sing all more or less songs and have the ability to adapt to new trends, says Javed Ali who proved his versatility by crooning hit numbers like "Jash-ne-bahara", "Tinku jiya" and "Ishaqzaade" title track.

"People say that today's music isn't good, but that isn't right. Good music and good songs are being created. But sometimes we have to move with the trend," Javed told and added that the only shouldn't pull away from singing an item song if its in trend.

"It (the fashion) is the demand of producers and directors. Music directors must make it and singers record such songs. We won't say no as it is essential for a singer to be versatile. I'M looking to do the similar with my songs," he added.

Ali, 32, admits that the music of each era has its own charm and should not be compared with each other.

"I consider myself lucky that I got a possibility to peer the live orchestra recording as a kid - 100-150 musicians creating music and setting up energy had its own charm," said Ali, who recently sang amid live orchestra on the Mohammad Rafi tribute night organised by Fever FM.

"Now with technological advancement, the music is already created and singers don't sing together anymore and still such beautiful songs are being created," he added.

Ali was singing since childhood. He began his career as jingle singer, then crooned the title track for TV soaps and at last moved to films.

He shot to fame in 2007 with the song "Ek din teri raahon mein" from "Naqaab".

Happy with the his career graph, he said: "I'VE BEEN lucky that I'VE had different experiences. I DID NOT get anything instantly. There was a large number of struggle. I got everything step by step," he said.

"My past experiences have helped so much in reaching where wherever I'M today. It's only a beginning," he added.
