"Talaash" actress Rani Mukerji rules out requesting her director to swap roles

Daane daane pe likha hai khaanewale ka naam. And Rani Mukerji lives by the rule of thumb book. The actress states that she has no qualms playing a de-glam low-key role opposite a glamourous co-star like Kareena Kapoor. The actress rules out desirous to absorb Bebo's role, preferring to play the role the director has envisioned for her.

The actress states, "I'm a little bit egoistic about my work. When a director involves me with a part, I NEED to play only that exact role. The question of me desirous to play another character would arise provided that the director tells me to make a choice from two roles. But if Reema (Kagti, director) came to me, she had this actual role for me etched in her mind."

Rani and Kareena have done a movie together after greater than a decade but didn't share a single frame. But that does not deter Rani from speaking fondly about her co-star. Kareena and i've mutual love and understanding for every other. We had numerous fun while shooting Mujhse Dosti Karoge or even after that, whenever now we have met at social dos or parties there has always been numerous love and warmth.

In fact, after I was told that Kareena could be part of the film, I USED TO BE looking ahead to working together with her. Unfortunately, there has been no such possibility for us within the script to satisfy.
