Ailing superstar Rajesh Khanna still needs some taking care of. He'll now be under 24-hour supervision of his family at his bungalow, Ashirwad.
Says a source as regards to the family, “Kakaji’s health has declined drastically as a result of his negligence towards his food and diet. He didn’t exercise in any respect. He was a sitting duck for ill health. After this scare, doctors have advised that he change his lifestyle. They have got also asked his family to be around him.”
Luckily for the 69 year-old, his family, including his son-in-law Akshay Kumar, has rallied around him.
According to sources, Kaka’s former wife Dimple Kapadia is seriously considering moving back into Ashirwad to seem after her husband. Incidentally, she never divorced him.
“The bond between Kakaji and Dimpleji is, to this day, very strong. She knows find out how to take care of a health crisis, having sorted her sister Simple during her illness.”
The curtain has not fallen on Rajesh Khanna’s acting career either. R Balki, who recently did a far talked-about ad for a ceiling fan with him, has another ad lined up for the superstar.
Balki says, “Mr Khanna displayed great spirit after we shot the ad recently. Some people thought he was looking ill but that was because he had sprained his leg. He was on painkillers and therefore maybe somewhat woozy. Otherwise, he never allowed us to feel, even for a minute, that he was unwell. I WOULD LIKE him for an additional ad once he recovers.”
