"I thought Jhilmil can be difficult. Initially, it was difficult, " said Priyanka now that "my heart is with Jhilmil".
"It is an excessively special character and that i hope you prefer it. It's my most lovable character, " she told reporters Monday on the release of its first trailer here.
In the Anurag Basu directed film, Priyanka has teamed up with Ranbir Kapoor, who may be seen as Murphy, a fun loving deaf and mute guy. The actress says that the aim of "Barfi" is to dispel the parable that disabled people live a dismal and depressing life.
"When we meet differently-abled people, we always have a view point that they live a dark, sorrowful life. But this isn't a movie about that. Additionally they smile, laugh, they fall in love, enjoy themselves. That is that side of their lives... I DO NOT think, after some time you're going to needless to say these characters have disability, " she said.
This is Priyanka and Ranbir's second film together after "Anjaana Anjaani".
Priyanka finds Ranbir's character "really adorable" within the film and says that "he'll make you laugh and you may wish to be him".
'Barfi' is full of emotion, said the actress and added that the movie will "reside in my heart for a very very long time and that i need to definitely say thanks to everyone who thought I USED TO BE able to playing Jhilmil".
From a model in "Fashion" to femme fatale in "7 Khoon Maaf", Priyanka has essayed different roles and feels very fortunate so to get these opportunities.
"Anyone gets bored by doing only one thing. I'M lucky that my directors can see me in numerous characters and that i could make them believe in me for various characters. I REALLY LIKE working hard and that i hope you're feeling I'VE justified Anurag sir's vision after seeing Jhilmil, " she said.
