Sources say that in place of being deterred by leading lady Kareena Kapoor's walkout, Sanjay Leela Bhansali continues along with his big plans for his epic love story 'Ram Leela'Kareena Kapoor will have marched out of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming romance film, however the filmmaker is yet not able to hang his head in disappointment.
In fact, in line with sources, he has bigger plans in place, step one of that's to take lead actor Ranveer Singh on a visit to Gujarat to prep him for his role. Our source from the film says, “Bhansali is planning to
take Ranveer to Gujarat in an effort to make him aware of the place, where the film is set, with the exception of introducing him to the crewmembers.”
With Bebo exiting the project, buzz is that Bhansali might be on the lookout for a fresh face. And in case, the filmmaker decides to compliment a tried and tested actress to cast as his Gujarati heroine, here’s the timetables of a few of our Bollywood actresses who could suit the part. However it seems like they all have a slightly choc-o-bloc schedule to start out shooting next month.
Deepika Padukone: Dippy has the sequel of Race in her kitty. She is currently shooting for her film opposite Ranbir Kapoor. After which she is going to start engaged on Chennai Express.
Anushka Sharma: Right now, she is shooting for her Yash Chopra project, post which she is going to do Raju Hirani’s next.
Sonam Kapoor: Sonam is currently engaged on Rakeysh Mehra’s next and can start work on Ranjhana.
Katrina Kaif: The actress is shooting for Yash Chopra’s film opposite SRK. After which there's Dhoom 3 opposite Aamir Khan, aside from promotional activities round her spy thriller opposite Salman Khan.
Vidya Balan: Vids has Ghanchakkar and Shaadi Ke Side Effects.
Priyanka Chopra: PC might be Bhansali’s only hope among A-list actresses. She has no other film except the remake of Zanjeer.
Jumping the gun?
Sources with reference to PC recently claimed that she were approached to play the feminine lead on this Bhansali project. However, informers inside Bhansali’s camp indicate that PC’s ‘friends’ can have made the
announcement a tad too early. Especially, since a brand new face is also considered.
