Revealed: Ranbir`s grand plans for RK banner

Buzz is that the revival of the late Raj Kapoor's production banner is already underway with Sriram Raghavan helming its next film

It's been some time that Ranbir Kapoor announced his intentions of reviving his grandfather, the late Raj Kapoor's production banner. Buzz is that now the ball has started rolling at the grand plans for the RK banner.

A source with reference to the Kapoor family says, `Ranbir was recently approached by director Sriram Raghavan with a script. After paying attention to it, Ranbir felt this is able to be just the suitable film for the banner.

He has sought help from dad Rishi Kapoor to oversee the script and to ensure that it seems to be a commercial film. Rishi will eventually be producing the film.`

Ranbir and Sriram remained unavailable for comment. The last film produced by the banner was Aa Ab Laut Chalein. Other productions include Barsaat, Sangam and Bobby.
