"We all are really happy that the franchise of 'Masti' is taken ahead with 'Grand Masti'. Obviously it will be bigger, better and badder. The film is yet to finish and all of us are having fun shooting for it," said Aftab.
"This film has nothing to do with original 'Masti'. It is the same arrange with a unique story," he added.
Directed by Indra Kumar, "Masti" featured Vivek, Riteish and Aftab as three friends who choose to cheat on their wives, played by Amrita Rao, Genelia D'Souza and Tara Sharma respectively.
But for "Grand Masti" Maryam Zakaria, Kainaat Arora, Bruna Abdullah and Sonalee Kulkarni will jowithin them in the cast. Ajay Devgn can even feature in it.
"The film demanded fresh faces. There may be more fun, more masti and more gags," Aftab added.
"Grand Masti" is slated for 2013 release.
