In an industry where catfights between lead actresses are a dime a dozen, here comes the excitement that Anushka Sharma actually sent a congratulatory message to Deepika Padukone for her performance in her recently released film opposite Saif Ali Khan.
Our source says, “Dippy is over the moon about how her colleagues have absolutely loved her performance. Also, receiving a private message from Anushka was an excessively pleasing experience for her.”
Dippy and Anushka both made their Bollywood debuts opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Also rumour has it that Anushka was within the running for Ayaan Mukerji’s film with Ranbir Kapoor, however the role finally went to Deepika.
Perhaps this may be a possibility for catty actresses in Bollywood to be told a lesson in camaraderie.
