"His condition continues to be very critical. MRI is showing significant damage to brain as a result of decreased oxygen supply to brain when he had the cardiac arrest," Ram Narain, COO, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, told Wednesday morning.
"His condition isn't good at all," his son Vindu Dara Singh said.
Dara Singh have been hospitalied on Saturday. His close friends Dharmendra, Raza Murad, Farah Khan among others visited him on the hospital.
Dara Singh, who won the title of Rustam-e-Hind for his wrestling prowess, entered the film world in 1952 with "Sangdil".
He appeared in various films like "Watan Se Door", ""Rustom-E-Baghdad", "Sher Dil", "Sikandar E Azam", "Raaka", "Mera Naam Joker", "Dharam Karam" and "Mard". He was last seen in a 2007 release "Jab We Met".
He has also done TV serials and is better known for his portrayal of Hanuman in "Ramayan".
