`Dabangg 2` isn`t same as `Dabangg`, says Salman

Superstar Salman Khan asserts that "Dabangg 2" isn't a duplicate of the primary film and the audience should consider it as a film after interval.

"It's not the similar. We aren't copying and supplying you with the similar picture. It is a different film," the 47-year-old said here Friday.

"'Dabangg' was of a specific genre and now an analogous genre film is popping out 'Dabangg 2'," he said at the sets of "Bigg Boss 6" where he launched the object song "Fevicol se" from his new film "Dabangg 2". The song features Kareena Kapoor.

"Consider part one ('Dabangg') because the one before interval and this ('Dabangg 2') as after the interval," he added.

Earlier, the actor launched the promo of the brand new film.

Asked why he chose to advertise "Dabangg 2" on "Bigg Boss", he said: "I'M the host of 'Bigg Boss'. Wherever I AM GETTING time and wherever the channel feels that 'Dabangg 2' promotions will also be done, they do it."

Directed by Arbaaz Khan, "Dabangg 2" also features Sonakshi Sinha and is slated for a Dec 21 release.
