Apparently Kalki and Emraan Hashmi has been paired again in an upcoming film, even before their first movie 'Shanghai' together hits the theatres.
Even before their first film together Dibakar Bannerjee's Shanghai hits the marquee, Emraan Hashmi and Kalki have bagged another film together. Buzz is that Kalki was cast because the witch in Vishal Bhardwaj-Ekta Kapoor's Daayan opposite Emraan to hike the curiosity factor.
Our source says, "Both Emraan and Kalki have done other forms of movies, more so unlike each other's roughly subjects." And though in Shanghai, Kalki has more scenes with Abhay Deol, the makers of Daayan thought bringing together the actress and Emraan would make the pairing more interesting.
Our source points out that once starring in films like Murder, Murder 2, Jannat, Raaz - The Mystery Returns, Emraan have been exploring diverse characters in films like Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, The Dirty Picture and now Daayan and Ghanchakkar.
"Kalki has won her own audience after films like Shaitaan and That Girl In Yellow Boots. Also important to notice is that she fitted the part perfectly.
So due to the fact they're poles apart of their number of films to this point and the pictures they have, the 2 together seem a captivating onscreen pair. Identical to Emraan and Vidya Balan in Ghanchakkar after The Dirty Picture," explains our informer.
Also, buzz is that two more actresses are yet to be finalised for Daayan that may be being directed by Kanan Iyer, erstwhile assistant of Vishal Bhardwaj.
