Shenaz, who's been part of an American TV show for the past two years, is currently in Mumbai to shoot for a movie. “It's a fun script and i'm excited to be back within the thick of items in Bollywood, ” says Shenaz. She spoke to CS about straddling the most efficient of both industries.
Itchy feet I enjoy being trans-continental. I THINK I WILL live and work between India and the U.S.. I REALLY LIKE living in two worlds. Life is exciting!
Being a vagabond is in my genes, and with all of the travel I've done and the countries I've lived in, IT'S NOT THAT I AM capable of settle down in a single place.
Why should I after I can live everywhere? I'VE always had itchy feet and the need to explore. Everytime things get monotonous, I move countries. After which once I come back, I'm a fresh face again (laughs).
Role play I think I WILL pull off any role. Being on a regular show, and shooting five days every week for the past two years has definitely made me a more confident and competent actress. Nothing works better than experience.
I had pages of dialogues to bear in mind and needed to be quick on my feet and now I DON'T BELIEVE there may be any role I WILL NOT play. Having said that, my favourite is comedy. I think that may be my forte!
I also did a one woman solo show on stage, in Ny. It got numerous laughs. It was in regards to the life of a Bollywood actress. I wrote it for the U.S. audience.

Life within the Big Apple What I loved about The big apple was the access to a couple great writing and acting schools, which helped me hone my craft. So after my shoot, I'd be rushing off forclasses every evening.
I also tried to take as much good thing about the theatre and the museums as I'LL. I THINK that I'VE had such a lot creative growth up to now two years. The flip side was that I always felt that I needed to do something in NYC, and i was wasting my time. I THINK more peaceful after coming to Bombay.
Moreover, I lived alone and needed to do the entire household chores alone; cook, clean and wash dishes. That is the worst, I hate washing dishes greater than anything else.
I had a walk-up apartment in The big apple – three flights up, and that i needed to carry my bags, groceries, suitcases everything up and down alone. After I came and the motive force carried my bag up the stairs, I almost kissed him. I BELIEVE we Indian girls are spoilt for his or her choices (giggles).
