Shahid`s South Indian connection
A far cry from his romantic image, the actor adds high-octane South musical hits to the play list he's going to perform on at an upcoming awards gala

If his selection of songs to accomplish at a forthcoming award ceremony in Singapore is any indication, it seems like Shahid Kapoor is eager to shed his romantic image.

A mixture of heavy-duty Tamil tracks interspersed with a couple of Hindi appears to be the actor’s modus operandi for the purpose.

It is learnt that Sasha has selected chartbusters like Annathe Adurar (Aboorva Sagotharargal) and Apadi Podu (Gilli) because the main tracks for his dance performance to be choreographed by Prabhudeva.

While the actor was unavailable for comment, a chum of his said, “The more or less dance Sahhid is doing this time is something he’s never done before. And because Prabhudeva is choreographing it, there'll be a large number of high -energy movements.

Since it’s a first, it’s taken him longer to get his movements right. Usually, he doesn’t rehearse much and perfects his moves within an afternoon. This time, he has rehearsed for roughly four days.”
