Apparently, John Abraham had promised Akshay Kumar that he'll gift him a dear two wheeler after the success of
their third film together
Looks like John Abraham is someone who loves to keep his promises, especially to his pal Akshay Kumar. Buzz is that taking into consideration the success in their third film together on the box office, Housefull 2, John is gifting Akshay a high-end motorbike.
Having first worked together seven years ago, in Garam Masala, the 2 actors became fast friends. John had apparently promised Akki that if their third film together works well, he would buy him a pricey bike. Now, word is that the two-wheeler will be brought to Akshay on Tuesday.
Promises to keep
We heard that it was in the course of the shooting in their second film, Desi Boyz in London that John discovered Akshay’s interests in bikes.
“It was after John got his own motorcycle transported from Mumbai to London for the shoot that he learnt about Akshay sharing similar interest in two-wheelers. A COUPLE OF months later, John promised to gift Akshay a motorbike to celebrate their success (in their third film) together,” recalls our source with regards to the hunky actor.
John says, “Since the primary time we worked together, Akshay has always been a powerful support. He loved the motorcycle, so it’s my way of unveiling my love and respect for him.” About his number of the prevailing for his buddy, the actor says, “I love motorcycles and so does Akshay. So I BELIEVED the most efficient thing for me to gift him is something we both love. So I chose a Harley Davidson.”
Black beauty
Describing the bike, John says, “Akshay likes black colour for motorcycles, and that i also believe black is gorgeous. So I’ve chosen this colour for his bike.”
Interestingly, the registration is pending since Akki wants a particular registration code number for his bike. John tells us, “Akshay wants a unique number. Hopefully, the procedure could be completed soon, so the bike will also be brought to him by Tuesday.”
