It seems like Sanjay Leela Bhansali finally has a reason to grin. After much ado, buzz is that Ekta Kapoor has finally scrapped her production house`s grand epic show Bajirao Mastani. Ekta had announced the project last year and work was scheduled to begin early this year.
Back then, SLB was said to be not too pleased with Ekta`s plans, for the reason that he was planning a movie at the romance between the 2 lovers. But Ekta was unperturbed and decided to hold on along with her project. However, the situatiat then changed.
A Marathi channel too came up with a show on the same lines. Our source says, `Ekta was about to start out work at the pre-production. However, way to this other show, she thought that there could be no novelty factor left in her version.`
Incidentally, the response for the opposite show was also not great and therefore she decided not to go ahead along with her project.
