I visit Ajmer dargah for peace of mind: Deepika
While the controversy on whether Bollywood stars must be allowed on the Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Dargah in Ajmer rages on, actress Deepika Padukone says her sole motive while visiting such places is peace of mind.

"I have only visited where after I. had gone because I FEEL in worship and god. Whenever we visit this kind of place, it isn't because we wish to promote our film. We go there for peace," the 26-year-old said here.

The shrine's dewan, Syed Zainul Abedin Ali Khan, who's also the sajjada nashin (current head) of the Chishti order and claims to be a descendant of the saint, said in an announcement Sunday that prayers by actors, directors, producers and musicians at this 12th century shrine for achievement in their films and television serials are "intolerable".

Meanwhile, when asked if she is in talks for starring in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Ram Leela", Deepika said, "THIS ISN'T true. The one film that i'm engaged on currently is 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani', that's crucial for me at the moment because we've most of the film left."

Denying rumours that she might star within the director's movie opposite southern actor Vikram, Deepika told: "I got a Google alert about it, but they're all rumours. IT'S NOT THAT I AM doing Shankar's film."

Produced by Aascar Ravichandran, Shankar's film features Amy Jackson opposite Vikram, who was seen with Aishwarya Rai in Mani Ratnam's "Raavan". The music of the film is being composed by A.R.Rahman.

"There is 'Race 2', there's 'Kochadaiyaan' with Rajini sir (southern superstar Rajnikanth). There's no other announcement I NEED TO make right now," she added.
