`I don`t need to embarrass myself before Madhuri Dixit`

`I don`t want to embarrass myself before Madhuri Dixit`
'Jindagi Jhandva Phir Bhi Ghamandva' is the road that's made Ravi Kishan a superstar in UP and Bihar. However the actor who's known for his on-screen attitude and pizzazz is nervous

“I am scared. I don’t need to embarrass myself before Madhuri Dixitji, ” says Ravi who's probably the most participants in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, the dance reality show on Colors. CS catches up with the actor:

Desi dancer Throughout my life, I'VE BEEN dancing in cuts and retakes. While I WILL BE ABLE TO manage the desi thunkas, doing contemporary cha cha, rumba, tango, etc is solely unbelievable for me. I haven’t even heard of those names. My daughter told me, “Papa, you can’t dance.”

I joined Jhalak simply to prove her wrong. But let me let you know that dance practice is tearing me apart. I'M 42, and these movements are exercising every little vein in my body. I'VE BEEN a judge/anchor at many reality shows, and now I DO KNOW that being a participant isn't easy.

My foot! My favourite dance is the only done at Ganpati Visarjan. I WILL do this simply. However the considered Latin American ballroom dancing simply haunts me. I remember long ago in 1993, after I was shooting for Udhar Ki Zindagi (my debut film), the choreographer Habiba Rehman gave me a fantastic whack.

That was because I USED TO BE not focusing on her steps. I REALLY LIKE music but dancing isn't my forte. But during Holi, once I am totally intoxicated with bhaang, I WILL BE ABLE TO dance for hours on end.

Chiffon sizzle I love the monsoon season. It's so romantic. I'VE done a variety of rain songs with Nagma and Rambha. In fact, as a producer I'VE myself placed orders of four- five chiffon saris for the songs.

Nothing beats them. The grounds was slippery and i've fallen such a lot of times doing rain numbers. Though we got hurt, we never complained. Cinema is one of these passion.

Passion comes first I have a thrilling line-up of movies this year. Though I'M still doing Bhojpuri films, I'VE reduce on projects. Now on, I only wish to do quality roles that experience numerous passion and intensity. I'M doing Shyam Benegal’s third film after Welcome to Sajjanpur and Well Done Abba. The truth that Shyamji is repeating me in his projects is an incredible honour for me.
