Speculations about Karisma Kapoor and Sunjay Kapur’s rocky marriage have kept erupting periodically over the years — in truth ever since they tied the knot in 2003.
Recent buzz from New Delhi, where the businessman is based, means that he's desirous about moving at the. capital’s chatterati are abuzz that he desires to take his friendship with model-socialite Priya Sachdev to the following level. Says a source, “Sunjay and Priya seem to be extremely fascinated with one another. They would like to maintain their past behind and begin anew.”
Sunjay was earlier married to clothier Nandita Mahtani from whom he got a divorce only a few days before he tied the knot with Karisma. While Priya was formerly married to New York-based hotelier Vikram Chatwal with whom she has a child.
Adds the source, “Sunjay has expressed his get married again. So it's obvious that he'll be legally parting ways. Karisma knows what's happening and so are her folks. She is keeping a brave front. Both the parties concerned are keen to tackle the placement in a quiet way with none media glare.”
Buzz about Sunjay and Priya first began towards the top of 2010 when he was spotted at high-profile bashes within the capital within the company of the socialite-model who's into luxury fashion retail.
Those within the know state that Karisma had married Sunjay at the rebound after her breakup with Abhishek Bachchan to whom she was engaged. Speculation was that she was not too keen to relocate to Delhi after her marriage.
Even after their daughter Samaira was born in March 2005, there has been buzz that every one was not well at the marital front. But something went right with the couple because Lolo was pregnant again and delivered a boy Kiaan Raj in March 2010. But even the attempts to give their marriage a second chance proved futile because the marital woes continued.
During her media interactions for her recent comeback film Dangerous Ishhq, Karisma Kapoor had preferred to stick mum about her personal front. She evaded questions on Sunjay and actually had requested that she shouldn't be asked questions on her marriage.
