No Bikini for Sonakshi: I'M REALLY NOT that sort of a lady

No Bikini for Sonakshi: I am not that kind of a girl
Actress Sonakshi Sinha, who donned an Indian look in her debut film "Dabangg" and can continue her tryst with traditional outfits in her upcoming films as well, says she isn't comfortable wearing a bikini on screen.

"It's a whole no-no to bikini because IT'S NOT THAT I AM that sort of an individual. I'VE BEEN bought up in a undeniable way. I'VE certain restrictions that I follow and that i don't see any reason to switch it because if the audience has accepted me fully clothed, then why would I resort to it?" said Sonakshi.

The 24-year-old may be seen in her desi avatar in "Rowdy Rathore", "Joker", "Once Upon a Time Again", "Dabangg 2", "Son Of Sardar" and "Lootera".

"I am a typical Indian girl who wears jeans and T shirts normally. Born and taken up in Mumbai, so I'M used to wearing clothes like that," Sonakshi added.

In recent times, actresses like Kareena Kapoor and Bipasha Basu donned a bikini for the large screen, while Deepika Padukone has flaunted her fit figure within the two-piece swimwear in "Cocktail".

Sonakshi could also be a tad apprehensive about doing an out and out bold film ala Vidya Balan, who stepped out of her comfort zone for a film just like the" Dirty Picture".

"It was an excellent film and Vidya's performance was fantastic. I respect her such a lot as an actress after that film, but it surely takes guts to do something like that. I DON'T BELIEVE I WILL pull it off with the constraints that I have," she said.

Currently, Sonakshi is gearing up for the discharge of her second film "Rowdy Rathore", directed by Prabhu Deva. It also features Akshay Kumar.
