On Monday morning, Shilpa Shetty gave birth to a healthy baby boy at a suburban hospital.
The delivery was carried out by Dr Kiran Coelho, who later told HitList, “Shilpa’s husband Raj Kundra was along with her though out.” Shilpa had checked into the hospital an afternoon earlier.
An ecstatic Kundra took to Twitter soon after to announce the arriving of his son to the arena. The proud father noted the newborn as Baby K.
Shilpa married London-based businessman Kundra in 2009. That is their first child together. Recently, Shilpa’s buddy Kiran Bawa threw her a toddler shower that was attended by several of her close friends.
While former beau Akshay Kumar’s sister was invited, his wife Twinkle was kept out of the list of invitees. While scores of shutterbugs were present outside her Juhu home to catch a glimpse of the previous actress-turned-businesswoman, Shilpa turned coy and refused to pose.
