Bachchans confirms granddaughter’s name is Aaradhya

"My granddaughter is named Aaradhya", Amitabh Bachchan has posted on Twitter, putting to rest six months of speculation over the name of Abhishek and Aishwarya's child.

Abhishek and Aishwarya welcomed their first child, a daughter, Nov 16 last year and because then fans was curious to grasp her name.

The 69-year-old revealed the name when one among his fans, Haseena Wazeer, asked him about it on Twitter.

Hasween tweeted: "@SrBachchan sir (Amitabh Bachchan) need to see your lovely grand daughter...would really appreciate your reply along with her name. Would really like to understand that. Thankyou."

The megastar replied: "Her name is Aaradhya".
