Abhishek charms Dancing Mums and is Geeta Kapoor a `Gol-Maal`

Abhishek charms Dancing Mums and is Geeta Kapoor a `Gol-Maal`
When actor Abhishek Bachchan landed up at the sets of DID L’il Masters to advertise his upcoming film Bol Bachchan, he knew he’d be called upon to accomplish a jig with the children of the dance reality show.

So when young Shreya Acharya from Manipal insisted that Abhishek joins the children up on stage to shake a leg to Kajrare Kajrare, her favourite track, the smart cookie that he is, he had already found out an intelligent strategy to avoid dancing alongside these l’il powerhouses of talent who’d send him running for his money.

He said, “Guys, I CAN dance … sure! But on one condition, I NEED not only the kids, but their mothers to sign up for me up on stage for the act.”

In one swift stroke, he cleverly achieved two things – one, he smoothly pushed aside any chance of looking pale not like the young movers and shakers … and secondly, he managed to place a large smile at the faces of the gorgeous young mums who were only too thrilled to be matching steps with their heartthrob.

Abhishek was accompanied by members of his Bol Bachchan team in this visit – Ajay Devgan and director Rohit Shetty.

There was a easy camaraderie and many good-natured leg-pulling between the judges Geeta Kapur, Master Marzi and the Bol Bacchan trio as they'd all worked with one another prior to now.

They all made fun on Marzi for his new-found prowess over Hindi and the bloopers he continues to makes.

In a lighter vein, Jay Bhanushali made an offer to Rohit Shetty, saying, “When you are making your next sequel to Golmaal, just use Geeta’s picture within the opening credits in preference to writing the title. After all, she is Gol and she’s a Maal.”

The trio was in splits.

Ajay Devgn rags Jay Bhanushali

As the host of Zee TV’s DID L’il Masters, Jay Bhanushali has always found himself on the receiving end of the pranks that grandmaster Mithun Chakraborty likes to play on him.

But little did he ever imagine that he could be submit to a chain of tasks by visiting guests Abhishek Bachchan, Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty who were at the show to advertise their upcoming film Bol Bachchan.

On hearing Jay’s fibs about how he has taught the most efficient of Bollywood’s action heroes all of the stunts and tricks that viewers see them performing in movies, Ajay and Rohit decided to place the large talker to check and took his case in every segment of the episode.

Whether it was imitating Amitabh Bachchan’s kaccha papad, pakka papad from the movie Yaarana or standing upright atop two moving bikes a la Ajay Devgn’s entry in his debut film Phool Aur Kaante, dares and stunts were thrown Jay’s way at every possible opportunity.

For the bike stunt, mischievous Uday and Faisal were only too enthusiastic to search out two bicycles that Jay might be asked to face on. And before anyone could blink an eyelid, they were up at the stage egging Jay directly to give it his best shot.

Making matters even worse for poor Jay, Rohit Shetty and Marzi went up on stage and increased the distance between both the bikes.

When Jay finally attempted the stunt, he could only reach both bikes by standing on his toes! Much to his relief, he didn’t fall flat on his face on national television!

In keeping with the mandate from the Grandmasters’ Association, Ajay Devgn, being a dad, took it upon himself in order for the entire participants at the show ate their vegetables and fruits by bringing them freshly grown veggies from his farmhouse at the outskirts of Mumbai.

While Tanay, Jeet & Shreya received a “lauki”, “kaakdi” and “gaajar” respectively, it was Marzi who walked away with the watermelon for his ‘impeccable’ Hindi which had the contestants and the audience in splits of laughter right through the show.
