Ranbir Kapoor has one more feather in his cap. The newest is that an ad that he had conceptualised is on its technique to compete on the finals of the Cannes Lions Award, an event that sees the very best ads from around the arena every year.
Ranbir, who assisted dad Rishi Kapoor during Aa Ab Laut Chalein and Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Black, is the brain behind this ad for a car brand. While most other ads that stretch the finals are lower than one minute- long, this ad covers the span of virtually four minutes.
Our source says, “Ranbir will host a premiere of this ad this month.” The advertisement was directed by RK’s close friend Ahmed Khan. The source adds, “They are really hoping for a win.”
The ad has already made its technique to the Guinness World Book of Records, for featuring almost 100 cars of the similar make. The shoot that was done over six days happened on the Ramoji Rao studios in Hyderabad.
