Panther scare at the sets of Emraan`s `Ek Thi Dayaan`!

Panther scare on the sets of Emraan`s `Ek Thi Dayaan`!
A big cat came over at the sets of Vishal Bhardwaj's film, sending all of the cast right into a tizzy

The unit of Vishal Bhardwaj’s Ek Thi Dayaan had an unassuming visitor on Wednesday night at their sets in Filmcity. After an Indian panther came calling, the entire members of the solid and crew ran clear of the sets fearing an attack. Apparently, the massive cat has been staying below the set every night because the past three nights.

Kannan Iyer, the director of the film, says, “Yes, it's an Indian panther that has made its home below the sets. We had often seen the pugmarks at the sets as we're shooting within the night at the present time. Many of us within the unit spotted the panther on Wednesday night and everybody started running here and there. They were all shouting, ‘Cheetah!’. Nevertheless it turned out to be a panther.”

Apparently, Emraan was at the sets when this incident came about. The director adds, “It’s an enormous set with many entry and exit points. The very first thing we did was to close they all one after the other. Secondly, we stayed in groups. It did hamper a while of ours for the shoot but we continued when we made sure that everything was in place.”

On whether he has complained to the authorities, Kannan laughed it off saying, “I guess the panther must be the only to complain as we're shooting on the edge on the Filmcity.

In fact the day I came over the sets, I saw a cobra just three feet away from me and a pair of days back, the unit members saw an enormous python across the sets. So, I ASSUME they're just visiting the sets every now and then.”
