Avoid promotions in the event that they bother you: Imran

Avoid promotions if they bother you: ImranActor Imran Khan has a work of recommendation for those who complain of film promotions going over-the-top - if an excessive amount of promotions bother, just ignore them.

"If something bothers you, like I say that some ads bother me, I put the tv off. So, if people think that promotions are getting out of hand, they do not have to pay attention, they do not have to look at the film, " Imran said on the MTV power 1 Youth forum event.

"It's ultimately someone's freedom and it's their way of selling the film. They're taking nothing clear of you, " he added.

Imran said as an actor, it's his responsibility to support the producer and take part in a film's promotions.

"I think it's ultimately the private choice. There's a producer, who's investing crores of rupees in a product. As an actor, it's my responsibility to ensure that this guy gets his money's worth, " he said.

Last seen in "Ekk Main aur Ek Tu", Imran is currently busy preparing for Vishal Bhardwaj's "Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola" opposite Anushka Sharma. The film can even see Pankaj Kapoor and Shabana Azmi together on screen.
