Actor Zayed Khan, who will soon be seen in Priyadarshan's "Tezz," says the filmmaker may be very demanding and his anger may also be highly unnerving. But within the end, it is all worth it, he says.
"He (Priyadarshan) could be very demanding. He expects the most efficient out of you and doesn't like excuses when you find yourself at the sets and can't get a hold of the goods," the 31-year-old said here.
Zayed and Priyadarshan have teamed up for the primary time in "Tezz", which also features Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Boman Irani, Kangna Ranaut and Sameera Reddy, with southern superstar Mohanlal in a cameo.
"He (Priyadarshan) is a job master. If he gets disinterested on your performance and if the performance isn't as much as the mark, he'll cancel the entire shoot and he'll say get lost, go end up and when you're ready tell me because I DO NOT wish to waste my time', that's very unnerving at times," said Zayed.
"But of course, that brings the most productive out of you," he added.
Zayed says Priyadarshan is a kind of rare directors for whom stars drop their attitude.
"He is an absolutely oldschool director who has constantly evolved as an individual and as a director together with his films."
"I feel Priyan sir is the type of guy... Although you might have ten stars looking forward to their shot, none of them really minds it because they know when he is taking his and their time, he crafts the scene so well and he makes you understand what it's important to achieve this well that you are feeling you're in damn good hands," he added.
"Tezz" will release April 27.
