“Get a fair Hindi dialogue writer, ” is what Shahid Kapoor advised director Linguswamy when the Tamil-to-Hindi trans-location of the Tamil hit Vettai was not figuring out.

Shahid Kapoor is back within the project, provided that a competent and sound Hindi dialogue writer be brought into the project.

Now it may be told. The crux of the issue was linguistic.

Says a source just about the project, “Shahid was not impressed by the dialogues in Hindi. However the same dialogues in Tamil were absolutely dead-on. So he felt somewhere something was going wrong within the translation. ”

Now a a topnotch Hindi writer, probably Prasoon Joshi can be brought into the project to helm the destiny and process the rashtra bhasha.

Barely capable of communicate in English director N Linguswamy said, “ I CAN'T communicate in Hindi. And the dialogues weren't being translated properly. That was the primary problem. Now my producer UTV is hiring a dialogue writer in their choice. That writer may be getting along side the Tamil dialogue writer of Vettai to get the essence of the dialogues. ”

Linguswamy admits the words were stepping into the way in which. “We’ve sorted out that problem, and now we’re on the brink of start shooting.

You must understand I’ve never done a Hindi film. And it’s an all-new experience for me. The Hindi version of Vettai should be completely different from the Tamil. It’s a unique culture for the national market. And I’m looking to understand the market. ”

Pakistan’s musician-actor Ali Zafar was roped in to play Shahid’s elder. And Ileana d’Cruz can be playing Shahid’s romantic lead.

Says Linguswamy, “We’ve already finalized Ali and Shahid within the brothers’ roles. Ileana is nearly finalized. ”
